Story time

 
I wrote a story in reading with my friend and it goes like this:

          One day, on November 3^rd, little Julie got a stuffed gorilla toy for her birthday.

          Later that day, she went up to her bedroom to play with her gorilla toy.

          That night, she couldn’t fall asleep because she wished that her gorilla toy could be alive.

          Julie wished really hard but nothing happened so she drifted of into sleep.

          When the sun rose, Julie opened her eyes to see a big hairy gorilla standing right in front of her bed. “Ahhh! Who are you? And what are you doing in my room?” “I am George the mighty gorilla and I need you to help me save my son from the zoo. They came and took him from me to put him in the zoo and I need to bring him back to the jungle.”

          Julie told the gorilla “Wait her, I’ll be back soon.” Then Julie went downstairs for breakfast with her dad. When her dad saw Julie, he asked “Hey, Julie, did you know they have 6 more gorillas at the zoo?” Julie said nothing and ate her breakfast quickly. After that, she went upstairs to see the gorilla.

          Later that evening, Julie went to her father’s office to tell him about the gorilla. “ I’m busy sweetie.” He mumbled and he wouldn’t listen.

          The next morning, the gorilla and Julie ate lunch together and planned their trip to go and see the baby gorilla at the zoo.

          So they waited until nightfall, when her father was sleeping, then they put on their jackets and boots and tiptoed to the central park zoo.

          When they got to the zoo, George and Julie saw the gorilla cage, with 5 gorillas and 1 baby gorilla. George saw his son and hurried up to the cage to save him.

          The baby gorilla was whimpering in the corner of the cage. George said “Son.” The baby gorilla looked up and ran to his father. “Daddy!” he yelled. “Help me!” George let him out and said “thank you!” to Julie. “ I will bring you somewhere special.”

          George held Julie in his arm and climbed on the vines all the way to the gorilla ball.

          The gorillas were wearing pink sparkling dresses and midnight black tuxedos. Julie and George danced with the baby gorilla.

          After that they went to see a movie called Super Gorilla Friends. At the movie Julie realized that even the most unusual people can be a great friend.
